Baba Mustard Seeds are used mainly for the tempering of dals and vegetables and have a pungent taste. Add it to the dressing for potato, cucumber or chicken salad. Use it in rubs, marinades and sauces, and include it in curries and bean dishes. The black seeds are significantly hotter with a bitter flavor, though the black seeds trade some of their bitterness for a particularly sharp, spicy bite.
